The lathering capability isn't bad but everything else about this is horrible. The smell is almost chemically plasticized and doesn't smell like authentic lavender. I've used some other products with almost the same list of ingredients and nor did it ever smell or dry out my hair like this product SO BAD I could barely comb through it and was losing more hair then usual. I'm sorry but I would not recommend Erbaviva shampoo or body wash. Glad I got my $ back.
